TROY, Mich., November 30, 2016 — The client, a rapidly growing Detroit based enterprise, needed “in-depth” SharePoint Administration knowledge before rolling out a newly developed Intranet. They had a SP site running in production but some of the basic functionalities were not working properly. There were issues in both Test and Production environment where the SharePoint portal was not syncing up appropriately; furthermore, some of the security and authentications were not working making it impossible for the users to access the SP Intranet. In order to resolve these administration issues, the client called IPS so before the SharePoint site can be rolled out.
“We found major gaps between the SP best practices and current environment” says Pradip Sengupta, President and CEO of IPS Technology Services, “we also discovered a number of issues in the Event log indicating the SP farms haven’t been set up right.”
Under this contract IPS will install SP in two freshly built environments (Test and Production) and then, set up the farms following best practices and the business rules for the client. Once done, IPS will also move the newly developed SP Intranet as well as the existing SP site so that it can be used by the employees of this 5000+ people organization.
